I am so excited about the Tuesday, April 20th Emergent Reader StoryTime! Besides having a slew of great books to share with everyone, the kids are going to get their hands dirty planting peas and/or sunflower seeds. Last storytime was a lot of fun, using some simple materials (contact paper, construction paper, and tissue paper) the kids made colorful suncatchers. We read the hilarious books Wild Boars Cook by Meg Rosoff and Mouse Was Mad by Linda Urban. And we munched on yummy grapes and crackers.If you haven't been to the Emergent Reader Storytime on Tuesdays there's still plenty of chances to come check out what all the commotion is about on Tuesday mornings. Spring storytime session runs through May 18th.
I saw lots of new faces again at storytime. Thanks to all the parents and preschoolers for joining the fun! See everyone on tuesday!
