Snowmen At Night by Caralyn Buehner has always been a favorite of mine. Haven't you always wondered what those frozen white figures on your front lawn do at night? Well this is the book that will explain it all.
Five Little Snowmen is a fingerplay sure to please. Remember half the fun is to do all the actions. If you have a number of kids have them line up in a row just like the snowmen and act out all the parts.
Five Little Snowmen standing in a row,
They each have a hat,(hands on head)
and a big red bow(hands on neck)
When the sun shines(circle arms around head)
Where will they go?(shrug shoulders)
They melt, melt, melt, melt, melt...(sink down to floor)
I am able to find great action rhymes and fingerplays at "The Best Kids Book Site Ever" website.
